HHPA RULES
We strive to create a positive and enjoyable environment for all our members. To ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant experience, we ask that you review and follow the guidelines outlined below. These rules help maintain the beach's cleanliness, safety, and accessibility for everyone to enjoy.

Swimming: Swim at your own risk; there are no lifeguards on duty.
Gate Locking: Always lock the gate when leaving.
Pets: Respect the rights of other members regarding pets. Remove disruptive pets from the beach.
Always clean up after your dog.
Faucets/Showers: Turn off all faucets and showers after use.
Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Personal Items: Personal items (toys, beach chairs, tents, etc.) must not be left on the beach. Items left behind will be discarded.
Misuse of the Beach: Misuse of the beach may result in the revocation of access keys.
Garbage Removal: When bins are full, tie up the bags and move them to the street, next to the double chain-link gates.
Beach Cleaning: All individuals are responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including trash, bottles, cans, litter, cigarette butts, pet waste, beach chairs, and coolers. The beach will be cleaned regularly Monday through Friday.

Vessel Sticker: Every vessel must have an HHPA sticker. Any vessel without a sticker will be removed and placed outside the fence.
Locks: All vessels must be locked while stored on the racks. You are responsible for providing the lock.
Risk: Vessels are stored at your own risk. HHPA is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.
Vessel Positioning: Vessels should be stored face down to prevent water and debris accumulation.
Vessel Removal: Vessels must be removed by November 1. A $50 removal fee will be charged for vessels left after this date, and they will be placed outside the fence.

Reservations
Members can reserve the beach for parties by completing the reservation form.
Reservations do not guarantee exclusive use of the beach, but we ensure that events will not be double-booked.
Event Request
All events must be submitted through the Event Request Form at least two weeks prior to your desired event date.
This ensures your event is included on the official events calendar.
Cleanup Requirements
Members are responsible for cleaning up after their events.
All trash should be placed in designated bins, disposed of properly, or taken to the curb near the double gate doors for garbage pickup.
Failure to properly clean up may result in the loss of beach privileges.
Event Cleanup Fee & Deposit
A $100 cleanup fee will be charged if you fail to clean up after your event.
Payment of the cleanup fee is due within 48 hours.
A refundable deposit may be required for party reservations.
The deposit will be refunded if the area is left clean and undamaged after the event.
If the area is not cleaned or there is any damage, the deposit will be forfeited.

Bonfires are allowed on the beach, but the following rules must be strictly followed for safety and environmental protection:
Fire Containment: All beach fires must be fully contained within a metal container.
Wood Restrictions: Only clean, untreated wood may be used for a beach fire. No chemically treated wood, painted wood, wood with nails, or wood/plastic pallets are permitted.
Material Restrictions: Metal, plastic, or glass must not be placed or thrown into the fire.
Unattended Fires: No beach fire shall be left unattended, ever.
Fire Extinguishing: Fires must be fully extinguished with water. No burning, smoldering, smoking, or hot embers shall be left on the beach. Do not bury or extinguish fires with sand.
Debris Removal: All fire debris must be removed and disposed of properly. The site must be restored to its natural condition after the fire.
Fire Safety: A Fire Marshal, Marine Patrol Officer, any person in the Division of Code Enforcement, or Police Officer may require that a beach fire be extinguished if deemed dangerous due to wind conditions, fire size, or other circumstances that increase fire hazards.

The beach is not permitted for any commercial use.
